No. ThrottleIQ was architected offline-first from day one. All GPS coordinates, accelerometer spikes, distance stats, and service logs are committed immediately to your phone's local SQLite database. When you return to cellular or Wi-Fi range, the app automatically uploads pending records to the cloud.
ThrottleIQ requires three distinct physical signatures to occur simultaneously within a 2.0-second window: a high accelerometer impact spike (>8G), an instantaneous jerk shock (>12 G/s), and a total collapse of speed down to zero (<1 m/s). Speed bumps and potholes maintain forward momentum, so they will never trigger a false crash dispatch.
No. When emergency mode is triggered, an SMS or notification generates a secure, unguessable tokenized web link. Your contacts can open this link in any mobile or desktop web browser to view your live GPS pin, latest speed, and battery percentage with zero login required.
Yes. The Garage feature allows you to register your entire bike fleet (e.g. daily commuter, adventure bike, track machine). Each motorcycle maintains its own odometer, service logs, and custom maintenance intervals.
You own your data. You can delete individual rides, clear local SQLite logs, or request complete account erasure via our dedicated data deletion portal. No ride records or credentials are ever sold to insurers or third-party advertisers.
