Machine memory
for motorcycles.
Every car has a black box. Every rider has a notebook, or nothing at all. ThrottleIQ turns a phone into a black box and riding companion — recording every ride, watching for crashes, and keeping the bike's maintenance on schedule.

Explore the core tracking experience of v1 and the newly shipped social and maintenance features of v2.
v1: Tracking & Safety
Background ride tracking, crash detection, and offline-first SQLite sync.
View v1 UIv2: Social & Cloud Maintenance
Unified media collages, live follower visibility, and per-bike maintenance synced securely to Firestore.
View v2 UIRiders fly blind.
Cars have had onboard computers for a decade. Motorcycles still don't — and the ride-tracking apps built for cyclists and runners don't understand motorcycle-specific risk or motorcycle-specific upkeep.
Everything a rider needs, one app.
Offline-first ride tracking, safety, maintenance and community — built rider-first, not adapted from a running app.
Ride Recording
- Background tracking — keeps recording screen-locked or backgrounded
- Live speed, acceleration, jerk, altitude, distance
- Smart alerts: overspeed, hard braking, rapid accel, fatigue past 90 min
Ride Analysis
- Per-ride summary: max speed, distance, duration, event counts
- Separates moving time from stops automatically
- Export any ride as JSON or GPX
Crash Detection & Emergency
- Detects impact + speed-drop signature, starts a 60s cancel countdown
- Live, token-based location link — contacts need no account
- Up to 5 emergency contacts, revocable anytime
Garage & Maintenance
- Fleet view of every bike, its stats, and service history
- Service intervals tracked against actual distance ridden
- 13 service types synced directly to Firestore per-bike
Rider Places
- Fuel, garages, and parts shops — verified and user-contributed
- Ratings and reviews with photos
- One-tap nearest fuel stop while riding
Social & Community NEW
- Ride feed, forums, and per-ride audience controls
- Group rides: invite up to 10 friends onto one shared live map
- Save any ride as a reusable route with turn-by-turn guidance
Offline-first, syncs when it can.
Recording never depends on a signal. Everything lands in local SQLite first; the cloud catches up when it's available.
On the bike — Flutter app
- Local SQLite is the source of truth, works with zero connectivity
- Riverpod state — ride recording, live sync status
- Material 3 UI + Flutter Map for routes and live tracking
In the cloud — Firebase
- Firestore: rides, bikes, maintenance, POIs, reviews
- Storage for photos, Auth for email + Google sign-in
- Cloud Functions for crash notifications and exports
Your ride, your data.
Privacy isn't a settings toggle bolted on afterward — it's enforced where it matters: the database rules, not just the UI.
User-owned data
Every rider's data lives under their own account; Firestore rules enforce user-only access, and deletes are permanent on request.
Privacy zones
Shared rides auto-clip the first and last 200m of the route — home location is never exposed.
Time-limited sharing
Live emergency links use an unguessable token and expire after 24 hours, and can be revoked anytime.
No ad tracking
No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics queried. Secrets and keys are never committed to the repo.
Roadmap
v1.0 — Live now SHIPPED
Background ride tracking, crash detection, POI directory, garage & maintenance, offline-first cloud sync — live in beta on iOS and Android.
v2.0 — Beta LIVE BETA
Open social graph with live follower visibility, unified media collages, group rides, and per-bike maintenance synced to Firestore.
Next up PLANNED
Crash-detection escalation via SMS/email if an emergency contact doesn't acknowledge in time, in-app weather, and leaderboards.
The vision FUTURE
Curvy-road turn-by-turn navigation on real routing, clubs and group events, and a premium tier for riders who want more.
Built by a rider, for riders.
ThrottleIQ is a working solo-built beta with a real release pipeline — looking for pilot riders, feedback, and partners to take it further.
